Materials
At Circular Stitches, our primary focus centers on organic fibers, recycled fibers, and non-organic (conventional) fibers with improved chemical management, social responsibility, and reduced carbon emissions. These categories are crucial starting points due to their significant roles in sustainable textile practices and their potential to minimize environmental impact. Our research in these areas is intensive and aimed at establishing robust criteria within the Sustainable Fibre Standard (SFS) to ensure transparency, accountability, and sustainability in fiber sourcing.
As we continue to grow and develop, we plan to expand our research to include additional sustainable materials. This expansion will allow us to incorporate a broader range of fibers into the standard, further enhancing its comprehensiveness and impact on the textile industry. Our goal is to continuously evolve and adapt the standard to include the most sustainable and ethically sourced materials available, thus driving further positive change across the entire supply chain.
